Author Guidelines

The bibliographic and formatting standards of EDRP follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6th edition, 2009 (http://www.apastyle.org/manual/index.aspx). 

Title: Times New Roman, 16 font, bold, left, and the initials of the words written with capital letters.  

Text: two column, a 11 size font

Abstract: Should be no more than 250 words. Should contain references to a research topic, research questions, methods used and the most important findings and conclusions

Bibliography: Quoting is based on APA STYLE, 6th edition. Will be written using a 10 size font.

Chapters in books:

Article length

The articles will have a minimum of 2500 words and a maximum of 7000 words.

Tables and Graphs: Will be numbered ascendently as they are inserted into the text, and will contain relevant information.  

Ex: Table 1: The results of the liniar regression analysis

      Graphic 1: The visual representation of deviance according to the sex of the participants

      Figure 1:...

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  3. The text is single-spaced; uses a 11-point font; two columns; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
